what do i do? firstly i make sure im hydrated, carbed up and well rested. i ensure hydration by ensuring when i urinate at least 8 -12 times a day that it APPEARS CLEAR. i ensure being carbed by eating 10g of carb per kg of bodyweight. for me thats 10 x63kg = 630g of carbs per day. thats around 31 bananas or equivalent. i ensure im getting at least 10-12 hours a day rest/sleep. i ensure daily activity. might just be jogging for 5mins, a walk with grandma or a 24hour solo mountain bike state championships. i MOVE EVERYDAY! and it keeps the lymph from getting sludgy and when lymph gets sludgy, we feel sludgy and have feelings of apathy etc. by taking care of these 4 MAJOR points, i find it super easy to see life light and breezy! cos ive got enough sugar to my brain(people with depression always have blood sugar issues) i have enough hydration and i have enough rest to build up reserves of MENTAL ENERGY, and ive done enough exercise which forces deep breathing to keep me balanced. society is all about starving yourself on fruits and veg and then going binging on something sweet and salty. we under eat fruit and then go binge on potato chips (sweet and salty) etc.and then we beat ourselves up about it! and say ‘your...

do i ever feel negative emotions?

and just to show you that durianrider walks his talk in times of adversity… my grandpa died from fatal heart attack last friday.my mother has heart disease and finds it hard to walk more than a few metres of a time now.my father got diagnosed with prostrate cancer last week.and i got told a few days ago that my oldest brother got diagnosed with emphysema. so how do i choose to feel? angry at the food corporations that sell poison? frustrated at my familys inaction to take control of their health. depressed that my grandpa hated his life so much that he did nothing to change his diet that he knew was killing him? depressed at the fact i know my dad would rather die from cancer than change his diet? no, im not gonna even entertain these emotions for longer than 10 seconds.. rather, im choosing to keep powering away and CONTROLLING what i can control. not focusing on what i cant control. im gonna use this adversity to move me forward and become an even better role model for health.and at the end of the day i still love and accept my family, its just that im not gonna let their negative habits affect me in a negative way. cos i know if i did, and my grandpa were alive, he would slap me in the face...

do i ever get pissed off? sure! im not on a positive mental cloud 9 ALL the time, for a few seconds throughout the day i get feelings of anger or pissed. but i dont dwell on it or let it influence my day. negative thoughts are like weeds in your garden. you dont want to totally get rid of them because that would be unatural, but rather you want to turn those weeds(negative thoughts) into mulch for your garden of abundance! so when a negative thought comes up,my true self says ‘what is a better way to see this? a way that will empower you, the animals and the planet?!!’ and with that sort of self languaging that i LIVE BY you can see that im not a lucky guy with my lifestyle, but rather ive earned it via daily disciplines that head me in the right direction. what we think about comes about, wether we want it or...

why is raw so hard at the start??? well i felt the same at the start.a few reasons why..1. most of us dont enough fruit carbs in one sitting. we eat like mouses and expect to charge like horses…it doesnt work that way. its like putting fuel in a car. we gotta put away enough fruit to go the distance. as im sitting here, im not truly hungry. but im gonna eat a 7lb orange meal anyway. why? cos i gotta bike race tommorrow and need to keep the carb tank topped up. cos WHAT WE EAT TODAY, POWERS US TOMMORROW. i could wait till i was hungry later on, but then im leaving it too late to get enough carbs to win tommorrow club championships! lol! 2. for some, they dont know how to transmutate the SUPER ENERGY one gets on 811. its just insane the amount of life force you get. and cos your eating enough, you can smash out mega miles once your fit enough. deep down im a couch potato. but 811 has saturated my core and FORCES me onto my bike to share the message.lol! to win races and run marathons. otherwise id be going back to rancid nuts or cooked food to transmutate the kundalini, energy, dharma or whatever we like to call it. so key point TRANSMUTATE THE 811 GLOW INTO YOUR...

time goes fast when your having sun!

freelea and i is training like animals. i raced 3 times last week. got 3rd in a road race behind the northern territory time trial champion chris loynes and under 23 australian time trial champion matt king. these guys ride hard and its good conditioning. im sure my vo2max is over 80 now! lol!. im gonna have to find a uni that needs a vo2max lab rat for the day! im breaking parts on my bike and my new bamboo frame is being sent over finally. im looking forward to representing organicathlete.org with not only the lycra, but the team bike too. im still coming to terms with being back in australia. i had such an awakening this trip with my mate darrick. we contributed to strangers almost a hourly, by sharing the simple message of health. now im in australia, ive upped the intensity even more thanks to darrick holding me to a higher integrity. im reaching more people and realising that when we stand up and commit, nothing can stand in our way! and that sitting down and being quiet when you can help someone is not the loving thing to do! when i see crew that are gonna hit brick walls, i speak up. i gives me such a sense of contribution. im living my purpose of showing the world that raw plant food is all...
